Investabot LLC ("we", "us", "Investabot") respects your privacy. This policy describes what we collect, how we use it, and your rights in plain language.
What we collect
- Account & identity: When you sign up or sign in, we collect information you provide or that our authentication provider supplies—such as your email address, name, and a unique user identifier—so we can recognize your account.
- Usage & technical data: We may log basic technical information (for example IP address, browser type, and pages or features you use) to operate the platform, secure accounts, and improve reliability.
How we use your data
- Platform access: To create and maintain your account, authenticate you, and deliver the features you choose to use.
- Article & research delivery: To show personalized or saved content where applicable (for example watchlists, alerts, or email summaries if you opt in).
- We use data only for these and related operational purposes, not for unrelated profiling.
Authentication (Clerk)
We use Clerk for sign-in, sign-up, and session management. Clerk processes certain account data on our behalf under their terms and privacy policy. You can review Clerk's documentation for details on how they handle authentication data.
Hosting
Our application and database are hosted on Railway, which processes data as needed to run the service.
Cookies & sessions
We use cookies and similar technologies that Clerk and our application need to keep you signed in securely, remember preferences where applicable, and protect against abuse. Essential session cookies are required for logged-in use of the platform.
We do not sell your data
We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We may share data with service providers (such as Clerk or hosting providers) strictly as needed to run the service, subject to appropriate safeguards.
