About Investabot

Investabot is an automated equity research platform that turns SEC filings, earnings releases, insider trading disclosures, and institutional ownership data into clear, sourced research articles across the S&P 500. Every article is built from the specific filings and metrics behind the numbers: earnings from 8-K disclosures, insider activity from Forms 4 and 144, and institutional holdings from 13F filings.

Extraction is deterministic, and every article is held for human review before anything is published. When a figure cannot be verified against the filing, Investabot declines to state it rather than publish an unverifiable number.

Investabot was founded in November 2025 by Ashton Pleickhardt, a Computer Science student at Chapman University. The full platform, from SEC ingestion and the deterministic extraction pipeline to the research publication system, is his work as sole developer (Investabot on LinkedIn).

Investabot publishes automated research for informational and educational purposes only; it does not provide financial advice.

Investabot is a research tool built for analysts, investors, and fund data teams doing their own work. It does not manage money, build portfolios, or recommend investments, and it is not affiliated with any bank, brokerage, or robo-advisor.
